The Google ads Adsense payment cycle is monthly. You accrue estimated earnings over the course of a month, and then at the beginning of the following month your earnings are finalised and posted to your balance on your ‘Transactions’ page. If your balance exceeds the payment threshold and you have no payment holds, you’ll be issued a payment between the 21st and the 26th of the month.

Note that the exact time that you receive your payment will depend on your time zone, whether the 21st falls on a weekend or holiday and your chosen form of payment.

For example, let’s say that you accrue estimated earnings throughout the month of June. By 3 July, you’ll see your 1–30 June finalised total earnings credited to your ‘Transactions’ page. You’ll then be issued a payment for your June earnings and any other credits on your balance as one lump sum on or around 21 July.

Tracking the progress of your payments
Your “Transactions” page will be updated to indicate the progress of your payments. You’ll see line items added and updated throughout the month as your earnings are finalised and then issued for payment. You also might notice other line items for various payments and credits. Click your form of payment below to see your customised payment timeline.

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (bank transfer)
Review the monthly calendar below for different payment milestones and to learn when you’ll be paid each month if you’ve selected Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as your form of payment.
  • 3rd: Your estimated earnings for the previous month are finalised and posted to your ‘Transactions’ page. On your ‘Transactions’ page, you’ll see a line item with your earnings total added to the previous month’s transactions.

Your “Transactions” page will also display any deductions related to adjustments or fees. Please note that you may not see line items for invalid activity deductions taken during the finalisation process.

  • 20th: Changes to payment information (including removing payment holds) must be completed on or before the 20th. Changes made after the 20th of any month won’t take effect until the following month’s payment cycle. Also, your total balance on the 20th must reach the payment threshold. If your balance doesn’t meet the payment threshold or if you have a payment hold, you won’t be paid that month and your balance will be rolled over to the following month.
  • 21st–26th: Between the 21st and the 26th of the month, a ‘Payment in Progress’ line appears on the ‘Transactions’ page, indicating that the earnings are processed and issued to your banking institution. When this line item updates to say ‘Payment Initiated’, this means that Google bank has accepted the payment and it has been sent for processing.
  • Seven working days: You should receive your payment up to seven working days after it has been issued. If you haven’t received it by the end of the month, please follow it up with your banking institution.
