Do you have your own content created from scratch? This can include your site, blog, or other original content. Before you attempt to apply for a Adsense Google ads account, please read the tips below to make sure your site’s pages are ready for Google ad AdSense.
To be accepted and successful with Google AdSense, you need pages with unique content that’s relevant to your visitors and provides a great user experience. Before you apply to AdSense, Google recommends you check out the tips below to make sure your pages are in good shape:
You should take care when using external resources such as articles on other sites or embedded videos. It’s really important that you contribute your own original content, whether it’s specialist knowledge, improvement ideas, reviews or your personal thoughts. As stated in the Google content policies, Google ads may not be placed on sites with scraped or copyrighted content.
Note: This is a serious policy violation and could lead to you having your Adsense ads disabled or your account closed.
Your aim is to create original and relevant content that keeps users engaged and encourages them to read more. Consider how you arrange the elements (text, images, etc.) on your pages. Make sure your layout looks inviting and make sure visitors can easily find what they’re looking for.
It’s also a good practice to provide a comment section for your visitors. Feedback from users who’ve used your site and read your content can really help you to improve your site as it grows.
When building your navigation bar make sure you consider: Alignment – are all the elements lined up correctly? Readability – is the text easy to read? Functionality – do your drop-down lists work correctly?
To use Google ad AdSense, you must have access to the HTML source code of your site. You need to be able to place AdSense code between the tags of your pages, which starts with the <head> and then it ends with the </head> tag.
If you sign up with a site you don’t own (e.g., www.google.com), Google won’t be able to verify that you’re the site owner and it won’t activate your Google Adsense account.
You can only apply directly for Google Adsense if you are 18 years and above. However, if you are not yet 18, you may have a parent or guardian sign up for AdSense using their own Google Account. If their AdSense account is approved, Google will make all payments to the adult responsible for the site.
All publishers are required to adhere to Google Adsense policies. If you fail to comply with these policies without permission from Google, it reserves the right to disable ad serving to your site and/or disable your Adsense Google ads account at any time. If your account is disabled, you will not be eligible for further participation in the AdSense program.
Because Google may change its policies at any time, please check here often for updates. In accordance with Google online Terms and Conditions, it’s your responsibility to keep up to date with, and adhere to, the policies. Exceptions to these policies are permitted only with authorization from Google.
You must disclose clearly any data collection, sharing and usage that takes place on any site, app or other property as a consequence of your use of any Google advertising service. To comply with this disclosure obligation with respect to Google’s use of data, you have the option to display a prominent link to How Google uses data when you use Google partners’ sites or apps.
