You make your website ad spaces available by pasting ad code onto your website and choosing where you want the ads to appear. Google will pay you for clicks, impressions and other interactions with the Google ads you’ll display on your website. An important thing to remember though, is not to click on your own ads.

Advertisers bid to be displayed in your ad spaces in a real-time auction. The highest-paying ad will show on your website. Google handles the process of billing all advertisers and networks for the ads on your website, to make sure that you receive your payments.

Adsense Sizes

You can choose from a variety of ad sizes and formats and customise the way that your ads look to fit with your website.

When deciding which type of ads to use and where to place them, be sure to keep user experience in mind. You should always have more content than ads on your page. Use Google Analytics to test the number, placement, and style of ads on your site to see what works best with your site and visitors.

Make Money Through Google Adsense

Did you know that there are multiple ways of making money with Google AdSense? That there could be opportunities you are missing out on when it comes to making money with Google? If you want to maximize your Google AdSense profits, then be sure to look into the following ways to making money with AdSense.

Certain types of sites perform better than others when it comes to generating Google AdSense revenue. The two things you need to make money with AdSense are great content and a lot of traffic.

In terms of content, there are two types of content. There is content that attracts new people to your site every day, and there is content that brings visitors back every day. Ideally, you want to have a good balance of both. That way you are always bringing in new traffic and making sure that a good portion of that new traffic becomes loyal visitors.

Sites that are perfect for content that attracts new and repeat visitors include Blog sites, News sites, Forums and discussion boards, Niche social networks, Free online tools. While these are not the only types of sites that you can create, they are the easiest ones to optimize with great content, promote, and find a layout that works well with both displaying content and getting clicks to your Google AdSense ads.

Text Ad: A text ad typically includes a title that’s also a clickable link to a webpage, one or two lines of text, and a website address shown in green. Text ads are sometimes known as “sponsored links” because the title links to the advertised website. These ads can appear on Google search results pages and across the Google Display Network. Text ads might look slightly different on the Display Network.

Display Ads: Display ads are graphical ads offered in several ad formats. Remember, as per Google valuable inventory policy, you may not place more ads than content on your page. Make sure to enable display ads for your ad unit, or set a default preference for your whole account.

Google Rich Media Ads: Rich media ads, a group of interactive ad types that includes HTML, Flash, and video ads. You can choose whether you’d like to display rich media ads when creating or editing an ad unit and also set default ad type preferences for your account.

Adsense Link Unit: A link unit displays a list of topics relevant to the content of your site, and when users click on one of these topics, they’re brought to a page of Google ads related to that topic. Though you won’t receive earnings for clicks on the topics, you’ll be paid for user clicks on any of the ads on the resulting page.

Google Responsive Ads: Responsive web design allows you to dynamically control the presentation of your website according to the properties of the screen/device that it’s being viewed on. A responsive ad unit allows you to control the size of the ads on your page, in line with how you control the layout of the rest of your page across devices. To make your code simpler and save you time and effort, Google responsive ad code automatically adapts the ad unit size to your page layout.

Most Helpful:   Google Eligibility Requirements For AdSense Ad Account

Google calculates the required size dynamically based on the available space and the size of the user’s display. If your responsive page changes its layout following a device orientation change (e.g., when a tablet or phone goes from portrait to landscape), Google will request and load a new ad of the correct dimensions to fit the new page layout.

Adsense Matched Content: To be eligible for Matched content, your site must first meet Google minimum requirements for traffic volume and number of unique pages. You can find out if your site is eligible for Matched content by checking the Sites page in your AdSense account. If you’re a publisher with multiple sites, you might find that only some of your sites are eligible for Matched content. In this case, Google asks that you only place Matched content units on your eligible sites. If you place Matched content units on ineligible sites, then Google won’t be able to populate the units with recommendations.

You can earn from AdSense in many different ways – by displaying ads on your web pages, by providing search to your users, by displaying ads in feeds, and more.

How Can I Earn From Google Adsense

AdSense for Search: AdSense for search lets you offer your users Google web search directly from your pages. Not only would it provide your users a great experience by allowing them to find specific content on your site, it would also help you maximize your Google AdSense profits by showing ads alongside your site’s search results.

By placing an AdSense for search box on your site, you’ll generate earnings from ad clicks made by users on the search results pages. You won’t, however, receive revenue from user searches through your AdSense for Search box. When users perform searches on your site, but choose not to click the ads on the search results pages, you will not receive any earnings.

For AdSense for search, publishers receive 51% of the revenue recognised by Google. These percentages are consistent, regardless of a publisher’s geographic location, and are not in any way averaged between publishers.

Using more AdSense products will increase your potential earnings.

Displaying Ads: For displaying ads with AdSense for content, publishers receive 68% of the revenue recognised by Google in connection with the service. Google doesn’t disclose the revenue share for other AdSense products; the revenue share varies for other products due to different costs of developing and supporting these products.

How Google Adsense Pays

For example, if Google’s auction of ad inventory on your site generates £100, with Google 68% revenue share you’d receive £68 through AdSense. Another ad network might offer an 80% revenue share, but only collect £50 from advertisers, so you would receive £40.

With the vast number of advertisers competing to appear on AdSense sites, Google system ensures that you’re earning the most possible for every ad impression that you receive.

Not all ads are priced the same, so factors such as changing advertiser budgets, your specific content and the ads your users choose to click will cause your earnings to vary even from day to day.
